Hey y’all!

It’s Sophia here, and welcome to my website! Can you believe it’s been a whole year since I officially started my photography business, formerly known as Capturing Candid Memories? To mark this milestone, I’ve taken some time to fine-tune everything. I hope you love the new look as much as I do :)

For those who are new here, my name is Sophia Freels, and my passion lies in photography and travel. Currently, I’m pursuing a sociology major in college, and let me tell you—I enjoy it far more than high school! Outside of academics, I'm actively involved at Faith Promise church. I capture photos of the worship team and serve as Team Lead on the Hospitality team.

I feel incredibly blessed. My journey with photography began in high school, where I started by photographing sporting events for the yearbook class. When graduation came around, I had to return the school's camera. But then, I was blessed beyond measure with not one, but TWO cameras, and that’s when my photography journey truly took off. Though I know I still have much to learn, I’m thoroughly enjoying the process. Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting amazing people and encountering opportunities that exceed anything I could have imagined. For all of this, I am incredibly grateful.
